My Vision for the Region

I wish to see a more liveable city and region, with a regional approach to water infrastructure.

We need to tap into and expand the tourism opportunities for this region.

The Carnival of Flowers needs to be restructured and put back in the hands of the people.

I believe we need a large Community Centre and improved sporting facilities for all to use.

A focus must be placed on upgrading and repairing our roads which have been clearly in decline for some considerable time throughout the region.

We must continue to lobby both State and federal Governments to secure the Toowoomba By-pass, Second Range Crossing. The infrastructure is essential for the safety in the inner city of Toowoomba and to provide more economical tranport to and from the region.

I will also address the issue of commercial airline services operating out of the Toowoomba Region where we have fully operational airfields at Toowoomba and Oakey.
